january: okay i actuakly drew the piece/upload it on the VERY FIRST DAY OF 2024 aka 1/1, i..dont evne owed the ocs anymore </3 #regrettbh bakc then i stiluse one of my favourtie ibis defualt brush that i ALWAYS uses bc i didnt know alot abt other brushes back then, i honestly kinda proud of this one bc it was a scene art and i was ahving fun abck the, this piece was me trying to imitate the hfjone art style

february: i rlly like pink lols...i rlly love this oc heosntly lowkey kidna regreted not keeping him, i chose this because comapring to the january one it has more to it, this was me experimenting with stuff such as background, 2 lines on their limbs to indicate paws, i wasnt a pro persay bt i was trying and it was amazing! the effort and stuff :)

march: i got into oc trading and stuff bc my bf sprout introduced me to it, tand i always make sure i draw every oc i get form toehr ppl at least once like it was on top of my priorities, i rlly love this oc and sprout did too,i let him offer and it have been a while...shes been in my pending folder for 9 months what @moonsprout-sys KRKRKKRKR hurry your ass up/silly, anywya i picked this bc i started to draw more complex oc from the on it was like a trebuche that shoot me two complex ocs department

april: unlike the other three, this one is drew on a different brush (and unlike the other two, its GREEB), this was me experienmenting with brushes and other thing si could do with ym art! i rlly rlly love tht brush lol i use dit for almsot everyart, sorry fur da toyhouse watermakr btw oop, another thing u will notice abt is thai used the white line effect which is sooo cool yall

may: i picked this to show yall how abd but also different how i coloured back then, i didnt rlly have a direciton i just pick a colour and select random shade, like how most of the oc is in different shade of greeb wit some blue and purple, cuz my thought wa slike oooh greeeb ooohhh simialr to blue ooohh similar to ourple, like even the glove is jsut black blue lmaooo

june: diversityy, i sitll have no idea abt anything abt colouring but yk, i pciekd this bc it fits into the template

july: woahie JULY, OH-KAY, so i was kinda improving ont eh colouring here, like at least the greeb and black combo is okay, hot pink bc yes, orange bow, the rianbow woodnt look good on it own but it skind of fit with the shad eof the ronage bowm, my designing skill have improved too!! did u see what i did with the rianbow sock and tail>>?? cool right>?? well fang u :)))) i ver prou

august: aside form colouring i start toe xperiemient with LIGHTNING bc i LOVE LIGHTNING IN OTHE RPPL ART SM LIKE OMZ THATS SICK HOW DID U DO THAT and i started to look up totorutial! i was rlly proud of this peice abck then, its simple, but it was my first experienment and it was MINE that was ME like..I DREW THAT oughhh <3333

THIS IS THE FIRST PART.

idk why but i wanna show tumblr my aranara quests themed custom tarot deck lmao. i finished it in february but since i created this acc just recently, i gotta put it here now. im just really proud of this project and the fact that i actually finished it.

unfortunately tumblr will only allow me to add 10 pics per post, while there are 23 cards, so that kinda sucks. will have to separate em it seems. i'll also explain a little about my choices on these. so here we go, first ten.

0 the fool - "where the journey begins". i think its already a tradition to put some main figure on the fool card and so did i. glad i used his correct design for the card-

basically theres nothing to explain except for the monarch butterfly symbolism, which usually is a sign of a chosen. not like Arama is any "chosen" in a common sense, but i felt like adding this anyway. 6/10 nice Arama card.

I the magican - creation and manipulation. Aranimba got here for his exclusive sense of beauty and the will to create the beauty. he is an artist after all.

the story of the bg is kinda wonky. it was at release of 3.4 and due to my disappointment i made a pic where Aranimba points at that shiny cave northwest the mt. damavand with excitement. well, now its a boss enterance, but back then i had no clue, i made it literally at the release day lol. but it worked well on the bg of this card. i think you wouldnt guess it was that cave if i didnt tell, and that was done on purpose as well. 8/10 for backstory, and im proud of this card overall.

II the high priestess - waiting for the impulse from outside, confidence. first of all, the high priestess to me was always associated with some whimsy loud woman, and if you ask me, this is where Arapacati fits. however here she is depressively hugging a viparyas cuz she kicked her brothers a decade ago and now shes sad. what did i tell u about whimsy woman? 6/10, solid.

III the empress - the mother, fertility, the birth of a new. THIS IS WHERE WE STARTED, THE MAMA. no need to explain why i put Rukkhadevata here? 6/10, i struggled with this card cuz i hate drawing people, but it came out solid imo.

IV the emperor - the father, discipline, responsibility. to remind you, Araja is basically the one who runs the Vanarana dream realm, the tree of dreams. he is also here for a very simple reason because of being a big boss here, and looking like one as well. 7/10, nice mustache.

V the hierophant - attention to visible and invisible, search of the essence. if you ask me why i put Arapandu here, theres my answer - because he was the only major character who didnt have a card in the process of planning. i have some really vague explaination why exactly on hierophant, its mostly because of Varunastra actually, not Arapandu. i honestly dont have any emotional connection to Arapandu, he's kinda boring. 4/10.

VI the lovers - chosen by heart, determination and aspiration. ONLY BECAUSE OF SUCH INTERPRETATION. im against shipping aranara x anyone.

i think i wouldnt even make any better choice for this card whatsoever. they are here because they share dreams and aspirations and i really love their duet. 9/10 i teared.

VII the chariot - knowledge of the world, searching for the new. these goofy guys are here mostly because of "searching for the new", even though their methods were unsafe and archon knows what would happen to these dummies without any sense of self-preservation if we werent around. fact: they've been wondering for at least 4 years, but i love to say a decade. nay, theyre just very lucky. 5/10.

VIII justice - "play nice, and others will play nice with you". this is a card for Nara Varuna specifically and i decided to make both Lumine and Aether so that everyone will be satisfied. since Nara Varuna did nice in the past, all the aranara praise their name in the present.

the bg is again kinda symbolic. these are runes on Varuna contraption: "the water", when the rain pours, for Lumine, and "the sky", when its sunny, for Aether. i only hate how i made them so vague that theyre barely recognizable eh. but overall good cards, 6/10.

Thank you for the prompts annie!!! 2. Oh jeez to pick from three??? To pick from three??? I guess if I had to pick (and this isnt from most to least fav just an arbitrary order) Goldenglow is one of my all time favourites, I love her design sooo much its so cute I stockpiled emotes and used her as an icon even before I actually started playing the game, and then when I actually got to Light Sparks in Darkness I was glued to the event the whole time... her story about trying to give the Infected and poor of Caladon dignity and having such a simple dream crushed by the greed of the rich in the area hit really close to home... I don't think people talk about the scene where Haze talks her down from committing suicide enough, that scene is REALLY good and one of the standout moments in Arknights for me. Also s3 carries me through every boss thank u susie <3

I probably have to choose between Silence and Ptilopsis cuz they're so intertwined so it would be sort of pointless to just do both of them for 2 and 3. I'll go with Silence cuz she has way more screentime even though I do love Joyce a whole whole bunch Unlike GG I had 0 clue about her before I started playing and sort of experienced her story out of order, I read Dorothy's Vision and was like "yeah she's cool :)" and then didn't think about her that much and then I finally got convinced into reading the manwha and it transformed my mind forever... the complexity of her story and relationship with Ifrit and Saria and Rhine Lab, how selfless & passionate she is to make up for the things she did wrong... ;-; < 3333. The underdog story of all of these great minds in columbia being unfolded by a tired, dedicated 5 nothing owl mom is so good. I also really love her design and Nori might be my favourite AK artist so every piece of art he does of her I love seeing. (also i really like guardians of gahoole as a kid so im obssessed with owls)

Pudding :) Shes so cute. Let me get straight to the point. I have seal 13. I don't want to be too negative on my account hashtag peace and love... BUT... Related to earlier mentions... I kind of can't get behind Redblade/GG anymore. It's not necessarily that I hate the idea of them together, but it feels like "red miraculously showing up to save GG from problems" is pretty much the weakest storytelling aspect of Light Sparks in Darkness that exists just to move the plot along and as a whole the pairing almost always feels like it severely downplays the depths of her character in favor of STRONG MAN protect CUTE GIRL. It's a very stereotypical M/F pairing I'm much more interested in her relationship with Quercus or Haze, both of who have seen Susie at her lowest points and reached out to support her, as opposed to Red who pretty much just like. is nice to her and saves her from goons Also every single male doc / female operator pairing kinda grosses me out, it's pandering that reduces the characters to one note caricatures of themselves. If you read doc as male all of his actual in-universe relationships are made less interesting by being romantic or you are inventing a sex god chad that does not exist to magically seduce operators that do not interact with him in the story. I was going to call it self-insert garbage but the male!doc/female operator fan content i have seen is an insult to self-insert garbage.

[I don't hate m/f pairings btw mr nothing kroos nation. Men getting pegged. Mountain and domma and/or robin is cute too]

Hii! I was wondering if you’ve ever ranked the Wrong Turn movies yourself? I don’t really count the 2021 reboot cuz it doesn’t have the boys in it, but if you want to count that one you gladly do it. Also if you’ve already ranked them that’s fine and you don’t have to do it again if you don’t want to.

Promise you my dear, that 2021 movie wont be ever ranked in with the Wrong Turn franchise, I don't recognize it as part of the series either lol. But! I will do two rankings, my personal and a non-bias one Personally: 4, 2, 1, 5, 3 and 6 are my Best to Worse. I adore the 4th film, it's my favourite, my comfort movie, my baby, also its the one with the best looking One-Eye, cute as FUCK in that movie.. 2nd is also a fave, love it so much and how it brings in the new side of the family, 1st if a classic, it's the original but I do enjoy fun over seriousness, so the 2nd goes above it. Now with the not-so great side of the films, I enjoyed the 5th with its story and how they handled it as an inbetweener for the 4th and 1st films as well as enjoyed the fun kills but that's all. I'm not a fan of how they handled the characterization of my boys or Maynard, nor the designs of them it truly looked like they didn't put a lot of heart into it. The 3rd is okay and the kills cool, but it felt very bland and flat, hated the story, hated the protags, hated that Three-Toes didn't last long and it just sucked. I hate the 6th film all together, hate the designs, hate the new villains, hate the story, hate the acting, felt the kills were boring, I'd tear it up and re-do it completely if I could. Apologies to fans of this one, but it really sucks its the only horror movie I've ever skipped scenes in and I've watched some real fucking shit-ass low-budget snoozers of some horrors all the way through. The (attempted) non-bias: 1,2,4,5,3,6. The 1st is a classic, it is what brought us the Wrong Turn films and out of every one of them its the most realistic is design and story, it is simply more real in the looks of the brothers, how they are as people and the story of it all, which is what makes it scary cause they were not originally mutants with special healing and strength qualities, just really violent cannibalistic hillbilly-bastard men that could have been inbred (them being inbred is more solidified in the 2nd movie) Its simple and gritty, it stands on its own and really would be fine without the other movies which is why its S tier. The 2nd, is were it broadens the families story out more, though doesn't explain everything as there still needs to be mystery to this family, but it does bring more characters that are family members and I love that it's natural! This is where the 6th WT movie and also where some other horror movies fail when bringing in new family characters when it comes to sequels or prequels where new family members fuck up the dynamic or just make zero sense on where they relate to the original films. The 2nd film is also where it brings the more comedy side of Wrong Turn, but doesn't come off entirely strong so its easier to ease into. It also is the one that brought more lore with how they're related via incest, the involvement of Maynard as well as brought in new lore such as the idea of mutation and that they can take more damage and have more strength to them. The 4th is where we return back to the three brothers and delve into their history more, this is actually where we get a more solid idea of their ages and personalities, the three brother become fleshed out more and really feels like the movie is more about them than their victims we're supposed to be following. It's definitely the one that brought the comedy out the most and made it enjoyable, the new designs on the brothers are also still very nice though they lost their realistic-ness features it is happily not distractible and still appealing. It still has amazing kills, happily does not lack in that creativity, really a good place to find out more lore and it fits nicely in the story line as a beginning.

The 5th is a mix of good and bad, with being the inbetweener of the 4th and 1st film, it filled in the blanks of how the boys got where they are a really good idea, the story is pretty solid and can be seen as fun, it only fails in the design and handling of the characters, with most the victims being bland and boring, though some more interesting than others (the old drunk man and cop lady) but they went a different route in how the three brothers were as characters, in both looks and personalities, as well as how Maynard is in personality and character which is very different from the past films. But the cannibals change personalities is all it failed in, other than that it is a good fun movie with good deaths and a solid lore story that relates from the steps of 4-5-1-2-3. The 3rd, though meant to be the "ending" of the Hillikers/Odets family, leaving an opening of 'mystery cannibal?' at the end. It does have some really nice kills, very creative but that is where it ends. The main idea of the story, though is an idea is one that feels out of place, uninteresting and at times even frustrating. The designs have become more poorly, though is not the worse of the films, it is more a movie that doesn't give a satisfying end and at times loses your interest. It does relate to the 2nd film with having connections, so it does well with keeping up with lore.

The 6th is difficult, since it doesn't fit anywhere realistically or naturally with the 1-5 lore. The acting is poorly, the designs of the brothers are horrendous and the characteristics of the main three boys are the most different and out of place of all the films, it brings in a cult-like lore that doesn't relate nor add up to the original stories, the deaths are okay but nothing entirely creative or fun like its predecessors, neither the new killers or victims are likable or memorable.

NEW DOLLS to report............ Gore-ganizer Draculaura - for a while i was not planning on getting her cuz of the price and how simple the doll was.. but.. i also just loved her face details so much that i caved in. and now her face details are probably my favorite of the g3 dracs so far! so i am glad i got her. I also use the organizer thing to store my 40000 unused MH accessories. so thats nice. it took a long time to get here tho for some reason..?? Ghouls Rule Frankie - so.. this dolls kinda old! (2012 wow!) but i got them new in box from a seller on ebay. i was not planning on getting this one but the person selling gave me a discount so i just... kind of impulse grabbed it.. i always wanted more old MH dolls that are “new” in box and i really liked the face details on this one, so i am glad to get them! the only other old MH doll i have “new in box” was my neigthan rot. so im happy to have two of them now. unfortunately, frankie has mega glue hair but i suppose thats to be expected.. i kinda doubt i’ll do anything tho cuz the hair is already like, styled in a certain way so it sorta doesnt matter. lol also: man i love the designs and color schemes of the older MH dolls but i always feel like im gonna snap their little arms..!! i have to say i like how the new G3 mh dolls feel to pose and such much more. they just feel a lot sturdier!  Shadow High S2: Dia Mante - i love that she has short hair but god damn. the glue. i washed mine once because it just was so nasty to touch and now theres like, some random tinsel hairs poking out so she looks crazy but its fine. i also dont really like the shade of purple used for her base but i love the outfit. i kind of hated seeing the new shadow high series 2 because they just.. dont look like shadow high dolls tome (but what do i know ig) i just wanted more monochrome grey/black/white dolls. i thought they looked so good that way! i feel like theres a lot of repetitive purples in this series too. either way, i have warmed up to the new line up but i just ended up having to not think of them as shadow high dolls for me to like them more LOL Shadow High S2: Zooey Electra - This one was my clear fav of the group and the one i wanted the most so im happy to have her! i love the alien look and her brown eyes are pretty cute too. i wish she had 2 outfits tho ngl.. i miss that feature LOL.. mine also has a slight factory defect (or im suspecting) cuz her ear holes are kinda higher than normal and the earrings fall out super easily. one of her arms can hyper extend/bend backwards and the other one really struggles to bend. theres also like a tiny mark on her leg. either way, i still love the doll. i think cuz its so simple in design the flaws stick out a bit more lol Shadow High S2: Reina “Glitch” Crowne - Yeah! i liked her a lot. she reminded me of the 2 pack twins so she at least felt like one of the “more colorful” SH dolls that still felt like. part of SH. i like how her undersuit looks when you take off her dress thing. mine also doesnt have too much product in her hair but i havent washed it yet. even tho i feel like shes really simple, i really like the face makeup. Besides that, i still think i like S1 of shadow high way more and felt way more excited to get more of the dolls.. but these are still pretty nice and i like that they’re cheaper lol. thats it for now

OneShot - Finished 06/04/2023

After being sent to unreasonable rage for three games in a row for various reasons, I knew I needed something to change. Even if I didn’t necessarily want to, I knew I had to pick a safe bet, a game where I knew, if I had any issues with it that would cause me to raise my temper, I��d need to quit video games for a while. My One Shot. It seemed like the perfect pick from the outset and honestly, thank god, it was just what I needed.

I say it a lot with games of its ilk, but conceptually OneShot feels hand-crafted for me to like it. A game with a striking world, and interesting and diversely-designed characters, all about leading a character to a single destination each step of the way, and building on that bond at each step. It’s an RPGMaker game that plays out more like a classic adventure game, putting the engine’s strengths to good use and also giving you puzzles that aren’t challenging like it’s progenitors, but just rewarding and makes you think outside of the box enough to be rewarding.

And of course, when I say “out of the box” it’s quite literal. The big appeal of this game is its meta-narrative,  one that exudes from the whole game that it’s a shock that I didn’t play it sooner with my obsession with the concept. The ideas and shit that the game throws at you build up to the point of its strong final portion, where the core of the game and it’s point reveals itself. One thing I will say is that the things that OneShot throws at the player definitely aren’t unique, even if you count its mid-2010′s release, but I think execution is important here. If there’s one compliment that OneShot deserves is that it ironically understands its limitations very well, and due to that understanding is able to deliver them with a level of quaintness and sincerity that is very befitting for what the game is going for.

However, one thing I will say is that initially, the tightrope that OneShot tries to pull with this can feel counter-productive. The world-building and cast initially seem to be put on an occasional backburner in order to emphasise the game’s link with Niko, and while it works for what the game is trying to do, it can feel particularly light on content and context and points to really to bring all of the atmosphere and feeling the game is trying to bring home... That is, until you begin the game’s second playthrough. This playthrough adds a LOT to the game’s general tone, worldbuilding, and message, at the price of the general gameplay and puzzles being a lot weaker. The game also starts adding a lot of jargon, feel fairly on the nose and over-elaborates on some details to the point of making things overly lore-dumpy and complex but... I don’t mind it too much cuz it seems like that’s part of the point. The two playthroughs feel like two sides of the same coin, both used to bounce off each other and play off the core of the game’s themes and message. One that I highly empathise with.

I think that kinda sums up my thoughts on OneShot in general. It’s definitely not a perfect game and I wouldn’t call it a mind-blowing experience, but I can’t really fault it at all either. The puzzles are simple and fun, the game knows how to work in and out of its boundaries, the general art style and atmosphere of the game are wonderfully nice and sweet, the music is calming, and the game knows how to keep the player’s interest and surprise them while still keeping to its sincere core and heart, and it’s one that resonates so well with me personally I THINK I’ll be able to keep the game’s promise. A lovely little time.

2. Is it easier to draw someone facing left or right (or forward even): i dont mind either way, but i default to drawing peple facing my left, 3/4 and all that. idk if its easier tho, its just what i do instinctually xd

An estimate of how much art supplies you've broken: i have several brushes that have been brutalized, a few times ive broken very thin fineliners (expensive ones too) and felt bad about it for years, plus i have a tendency to break pastels/pencils/crayons sometimes, cuz i press too hard or hold them too tight lol. also i once broke a marker tip. actually probably more than once.

21. Art styles nothing like your own but you like anyways: i love simple cartoony styles, especially ones with cool, exaggerated shapes, but i also love semi-realistic, detailed styles, thus my art ends up in this weird in-between state where i commit to neither :')

Something your art has been compared to that you were NOT inspired by: anime. so many people (especially art teachers) say its anime. and like. at one point as a kid i did try to draw in an "anime" style but this was pretty recent. i remember one instance four years ago and once literally last month. luckly it wasnt said in a "kids these days" way or "dont draw like that" way, it was just like, an acknowledgement. maybe theyre right tho lmao.

26. What's a piece that got a wildly different interpretation from what you intended:

okay this is a bit long, but in my 3rd year of art high school i had the principal as my design teacher for a year (the horror). she's this older lady and tho she acted nice for the most part, she could be rly mean (to this day idk if she said certain things on purpose to make us feel bad, or if she legit didnt know how degrading it sounded). she would often read into every little thing about a piece when it really wasnt that deep. or she would read into it and miss the point and come up with some other, out-there interpretation. she also liked to mention plagarism (asking us if we came up with everything ourselves and whatnot) and she would come up with some wild metaphors and symbols that were not really there. for example once she said that a window i drew made her think of imprisonment, because it looked like the bars of a cell, i guess. so this one time for an assigment i made a piece with four characters representing different emotions (happy, sad, angry and apathetic) and they all had colors assigned (yellow, blue, red and gray). it was only their heads visible and they had no real distinguishing features, just the planes of their face and a mouth to indicate a facial expression. i thought it was pretty straightforward, thought she would say it wasnt rly complex enough as a concept. like you know, emotions are a very simple idea and the colors were pretty basic, "blue for sad" is not exactly innovative. so anyway, she said it really made her think and might be interpreted as racist. didnt even pick up on the "emotions as colors" side of it all, despite it being the only real meaning i intended. she was fun, but only in retrospect.

But I'm hardly a teacher lol. I mean, I'm glad my concept art inspires you and can be used as refs, super glad, but I myself literally just spent all summer trying to learn how to draw kids in a way I liked and am still always learning myself so I don't think I can be considered a master. Still tho, I really appreciate it! These aren't necessarily official refs yet, just me trying to set the character designs in stone before I make the final refs (so references for references technically), but it makes me so happy they can still be used for inspo by others!

This one’s rather random, especially since there’s a lot of others than I could do.  I’m sort of in a frantic state with the realization that I have a lot of design sheets I’d have to do if I wanted to do Division in April.  I mean, it is still up in the air - the nice thing is that, if my muse shifts back to WfS, I pretty much have everything I need for that (and it still might!).  This, however....eh....

In any case, I wanted to redo the designs of Gabe’s family after doing redoing Captain Steel - I wanted his wife to match him a bit better, then figured, hell, might as well do their children as well.  And then, hell, let’s add Eagle Eye as well, since it’s predominate.  And then this morning, decided to do a sheet of the Blackburnes since, obviously, Nova interacts with them a lot.

The first in the Wolfhart designs is a new one, that one being of Adam’s little brother, Trevor aka Shadow Wolf.  Trevor is sort of based on my husband’s super hero who shares the same name.  I’m not quite sure what his powers are - something about time, I believe - but I based his costume off something my husband might wear, since he has a thing for the ‘detective’ look, but then I also gave him the half cape his brother sports.  Over all, I rather like how he looks, although not sure if I’ll remember to include him, lol.

Pegaus’ outfit was originally a bodysuit like it used to be, but...I didn’t really care for the look and experimented with giving her pants and...wow.  I really like the matronly look she has going on!  Maybe its the colors, but she looks approachable and like she’d adopt you the moment you suggested you needed a hug.  Olivia has always been gorgeous, but I really like how this came together.

I imagine that she had a bodysuit once upon a time - I’m pretty sure Cosmic Star chose that look as a homage to Pegasus - but then she just shifted to something more comfortable as she got older.  The woman is in her fifties, after all.

I always have trouble with Angelico costume.  Coming up with male costume ideas is hard (not like females are easier), and him especially.  I had this random idea that he wears his black leather jacket even in his superhero state, because he thinks it makes him look more badass, and I found it hilarious enough to use.  Then I ended up giving him simple stripes for the hell of it, and with the black boots, well, I actually really like this one!  Simple, but effective.

I didn’t change a damn thing about Invidia other than her hair, because I didn’t think she’d actually have bangs.  ^^;  Still one of my favorite costumes, even if the person wearing it is trash (sorta wish I used this design for Cosmic Star, oh well).  She’s pretty.

I removed the masks from Angelico and Invidia because I got to thinking and, and in this world, unless the person chooses to remain anonymous, their identity is just out there and there’s no point in masks.  The newer recruits wear masks because most of them aren’t ready for people to recognize them outside of work.  Like, sure, people might know their name, but they wouldn’t recognize them right away.  The exception, of course, is heroes who wear glasses, who wear masks just to protect their eyes (so they’re not fighting with glasses on).  Being the elder children of Captain Steel, though, makes them instantly recognizable with or without a mask, so there’s no point in wearing one.

(Gabe wears a mask as a form of solidarity towards Connor, whose one of those heroes who has to wear a mask).

Eagle Eye’s role is mostly that of Astrid’s father, but he shows up enough because he’s also a predominate hero.   He wasn’t a part of the original group who started the Guild, but he was fighting around the same time, despite being, like, a teenager when the Guild was formed.  He was one of the first people scouted the join, though.  I realized, when working on his design, that I ‘see’ him wearing a sort of colonial looking outfit for some god forsaken reason, so...here we are.  I like it, cuz it’s different.

The next set is simple, being Nova and Luna’s family.  Their mother is a teacher, so I tried to give her something similar and comfortable to wear.  Its cute, I really like it!  And then their father is over there looking appropriately adorkable.   The man’s an accountant, but he doesn’t look boring enough to be one. 

(And don’t ask me how two people with brown hair produce three daughters with blond hair.  No one knows, okay?)

Soliel looks adorable!  I mean, I’ll admit, I know next to nothing about teenage fashion (or...fashion at all),  but I just sort of slapped something together and liked it, so there we are.  Soleil is similar to Nova, though, in that she isn’t exactly that into fashion, unlike Luna.  But it looks cute, though, and that’s all that matters.  ^^;

So yeah, just some random quick and easy Cataclysm designs.

OKKK I am back! Here are my general thoughts of the new vid just a quick analysis. To start off I really love the aesthetic of the game it looks very pretty.

The video showed the ppl who lived across Hyrule, later in the video it showed to interesting Gerudo npcs that probably take a role in the story. Im very happy that Gorons have returned OF COURSE💪💪💪💪 it seems like their designs having brown hair returns. I think I only saw this in Spirit Tracks?

Dekus are back I do love the idea that they live in the Faron region, I thought they would be dwelling in the Korok/Woodland region (assuming that the game takes botw/totk’s map). Maybe we might see the Koroks returning who knows.

Ok I can talk now a bit about gameplay. They show again the Business Scrubs it seems like they sell you smoothies by mixing in ingredients that you collect across Hyrule. I thought it something that is similar to classic potions but with a cooking aspect to it.

Okay, I want to discuss one aspect that’s got me scratching my chin. The teleportation system is back. Actually, I thought of it like AlbW because I assume you have to walk up to those pillars and teleport to other areas.

Botw/Totk's menu returns. I'm not too bothered by that. I think its UI was pretty simple to navigate to. It actually seems a little simpler than the Botw/Totk menu UI. It doesn't seem like there's a lot of options to go by unless this is one portion of the menu.

You get to customize Zelda, and I'm very happy about that cuz I liked her princess outfit. But ngl I rolled my eyes when I saw that Gerudo outfit. Like, right then, I see you never learn your lesson. I gave you too much credit for getting rid of the Gerudo Vai outfit in TotK, but I guess it is back cause Zelda's a girl ig 🙄

You have the option to ride horses, now I do like that this is an option. But I gotta be real I don't feel too crazy about this. I hope its not a TotK situation where riding a horse feels kind of pointless when you got other stuff that can help you travel across Hyrule better than a horse. Though it seems like you can only summon a horse by using a carrot, I wonder if this is an item that you have to actively look to collect, like from enemies, the environment, or buy from shops. The video also showed Zelda riding a white horse, so I am curious about how this whole horse system will work once the game comes out.

The game introduced a new game mechanic that you can use aside from your echo ability. Using Tri to move objects, it reminded me a lot to Magnesis and Ultrahand. I also saw that you can switch from moving an object/monster to the monster or creature moving you. This is what I mentioned with my horse point is that while it's nice that they are giving us options, this ability makes it explore Hyrule much more quickly and efficiently than riding a horse. Tbh tho I'm not too crazy about this ability either.

When taking screenshots on this, especially the one above, my eyes opened wide looking at the top right corner. Like could it be?! Is the classic Zelda UI returning?? I mean it makes sense I don't think Zelda has to jump, nor she uses weapons like swords, shields, and bows to fight. Could it mean that you don't have to endlessly scroll on the menu to select one object and use it and then have to reopen that darn scrolling menu of doom? I hope that's the case; you select one button to be a platformer echo, another a fighting echo, and finally, your Tri ability to move objects. It would just make sense to do that; it is quicker and far more efficient than the scroll menu of doom. However I don't want to have my hopes up sadly.

Anywayz those are my thoughts on what was presented to the game. I know at the very end they show that Zelda can hop in the evil dimensional goop. I can't rlly speculate further then that.

mc strikes me as a very organized person, when it comes to work stuff, and Notion is a great app for people who like organizing things and also want a relatively easy UI to traverse. theres pages and embed functions and checklists and calendars, mc loves it ALL

and she loves that Notion also allows you to customize how everything looks!! so her Notion looks something like this

having a nice Notion page helps her motivation to get things done. looking at tasks and information in a page thats Pretty can do wonders for the soul and brain <3

artem is also a very organized person so he enjoys Notion for the same reasons mc does.

however, he customizes 0 decorations. looks like this

barebones, straight to the point. ive always seen artem as somebody who gets visually overwhelmed when a bunch going on in terms of design. and getting overwhelmed is the opposite of what he wants to happen when working, so he keeps it simple

also, hes shit at anything art related and making a Notion page is adjacent enough to that that even if he tried, he would fail horrendously

marius Is somebody who appreciates aesthetics and is good at it, but if it's work, hes not gonna be putting effort to make that look nice, hes got his paintings and art for that!!! and since his work is Pax and NXX (which is Pax funded, i always forget that fact!) he shrugs and uses Pax's system

it's all there anyway, he doesnt have to waste time setting stuff up and time is a Finite Resource in his life and busy day to day schedules

the ony flaw of Pax Workplace isnt rlly inherent to the app itself, but to marius. cuz hes always tryna get everybody else on board in using it too in a joke-y salesman energy kind of way, and if he brings it up one more time, someones gonna SNAP

luke: just the notepad app that came with his laptop but used in the worst way possible

confession: this is how i organize stuff and im bestowing to luke not just cuz i love projecting on him but also cuz it's in character. in his personal story 3, mc mentioned that luke is such a messy person in his own space but manages to know where everything is anyway. it wouldnt be a stretch to assume this extends to a digital space too

so luke just uses the notepad app

and he keeps everything in only like 2 note files

one is called Work. the other is called Munchies. the first one is all his work notes, investigations, leads, contacts, everything. the second one is filled with all his usual takeout orders.

both of files started filled up with the thing that their name topic is, but then luke got a bit distracted and started forgetting to check which notepad he was putting shit in. so both note files ends up being like a LONG BLOCK TEXT PARAGRAPH of investigation theories and then followed by "manager’s choice large, garlic n cheese large if mc is coming over" and both files are SO GODDAMN LONG because hes been using em ever since he returned to stellis

oh and he added a 3rd new notepad that has nothing in it but the lyrics of the Agent P song from phineas and ferb but he edited it to be about peanut

because thats totally important and needs its own file, duh

The ASL silhouettes are so fucking cool like

Dunno why it was so hard to find them so i made them kinda Sabos chosen silhouette is a little shit, not the best pose I could’ve used but whatever it proves my point

Like Oda has a massive imagination, incredible character designing skills, each character is pretty unique for the story he’s telling (excluding the Nami same face joke for all the women of note that are pretty)

I’d like to talk today about how ASL all have the same design theme that ties them together, especially Luffy who shares silhouette symmetry with his older brothers

The most obvious: ASL all have hats, idk the true reasoning behind this design choice but it really helps when you put all three together, who is who and giving them all a clean defining shape

Luffy has a strawhat with a rounded shape at the top, Ace’s is a westernised shaped hat with a taller shape and Sabo’s is a top hat with a flat top, could be me talking out my ass but the progression of shape language is fun and i could be totally wrong this is just my personal observation

Cuz Luffy is circles, Ace is triangles, literally two triangles inverted to have their apexs touch for his torso and legs and Sabo is rectangular trapezium sort of shape

Timeskip Luffy carries shapes from his brothers in the form of his waist sash giving him a more middled balanced silhouette that looks similar to Sabo’s knee length overcoat, however Luffy also has shorts roughly the same lengh as Ace’s but less harsh and potentially fluffy? Giving him a nice oval shape from his hat to his shorts, like egg shaped? awesome silhouette so simple yet effective

Ace is streamlined in every way possible, its the cool dude shapes, triangles and tapers, his hat has slight taper, his legs taper down his waist tiny tbh his pose is so striking compared to luffy and sabo because he doesn’t wear anything, but his waist line is broken up by the hilt of his dagger, idk why but it works and looks good, adds to his whole “im barely armed so you should see me as a threat” which is cool bc Luffy is deceivingly unarmed and Sabo’s pipe is deceptive because it’s not sharp

Sabo i wish i had a better example but his entire silhouette reads as mysterious, and he is mysterious (hes the revolutionary armys chief of staff!) hes the strange third brother introduced part way through the tail end of pre timeskip, the more properly dressed or covered up the character is means they have more secrets to hide and Dragon is the same with his entire body concealed by a huge cloak (most of the time), his entire silhouette could be messy if it werent for the inclusion of his famous pipe weapon, it adds meat to his otherwise average silhouette (the coat doesnt really do much for him shapewise tbh, but without it hes boring) bc it adds a body break?? Idk how to describe it but its long enough to sling over his back and will show over his shoulders and past his legs

Also worth noting their ascension in shoe silhouette, Luffy wears sandals or flipflops, so in his silhouette it doesnt detract from his main shape language, Ace has ankle boots/combat boots that go past his ankles, rounded because alot of his shape is sharp, Sabo has knee length boots to add some streamline to his large coat they also match his top hat in terms of shape height and technically his pipe too

Basically their silhouettes are all complementary and it’s a shame we only get merch of all three together
